Will I speak to a doctor?

Yes – your consultations will be via telehealth with one of our registered doctors. Our clinical team will work closely with you to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How do I book a consultation?

Before we can schedule your first consultation, you'll need to complete a short eligibility check. Once your eligibility is confirmed, you can schedule your first consultation online or a member of our team will be in touch to assist. Ongoing appointments can be booked through our patient portal or by calling us directly.

Do I need a referral from my GP or specialist?

A referral is not required, however we may request a current Health Summary or a supporting letter from your regular treating doctor before finalising your treatment plan. You can email it to hello@atlus.com.au.

What should I expect during my first consultation?

Your doctor will review your medical history, understand your current symptoms, and assess whether treatment is appropriate for you. If so, they'll talk you through your personalised treatment plan and explain the next steps in your care journey.

Are telehealth consultations secure?

Yes. All telehealth appointments are conducted through secure, encrypted platforms to ensure your personal and medical information remains protected.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. As appointments are prepaid, we are unable to offer a refund for missed appointments or late cancellations.

How long before I receive my medication?

Once your order is placed, you can expect delivery within 3 to 4 business days via Express Registered Post. All parcels require a signature upon delivery and cannot be left unattended.

Is there a Medicare rebate?

Medicare rebates are not currently available for consultations at Atlus.

What are the costs of Atlus services?

Initial consultations: 15 minutes $59, Extended 30 minutes $118. Review consultations: 10 minutes $39, Extended 20 minutes $78. Concession card holders receive 10% off. Patients switching from another clinic receive 50% off their first consultation.

Do I need to pay before my telehealth appointment?

Yes, all consultations must be paid in full at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

Does private health insurance cover the costs?

Coverage depends on your individual policy and provider. We recommend contacting your private health insurer directly to check whether your treatment may be eligible for reimbursement. We'll provide a detailed receipt after your consultation.
